Overview
The Systemo x Made in Polimi exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Systemo project and the Politecnico di Milano, aiming to celebrate the history of design at the Politecnico.
It tells stories of inventions, patents, and iconic objects, but above all, it highlights the human experiences of the women and men whose dedication to research led to significant discoveries.
Despite the rich legacy of Politecnico di Milano, there was a noticeable absence of a dedicated exhibition project by the School of Design to showcase the "Made in Polimi" initiative, leaving the human stories, patents, iconic objects, and research achievements of its community without a tailored spatial narrative.
Systemo x Made in Polimi bridges this gap by leveraging the modular Systemo framework to design a dedicated exhibition that celebrates the university’s design history. The project transforms these stories of innovation, patents, and human dedication into an engaging, adaptable spatial experience that highlights the people and discoveries behind Politecnico di Milano.
Revit (3D modeling), physical scale models, AutoCAD (technical drawings), DiaLux (light design), Adobe InDesign, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Spatial analysis, field observations of pedestrian flows, environment mapping, modular design modeling, and institutional branding alignment.
